Course Overview
Course Overview
The Shadow Warrior Academy Tactical Mission Network (TMN) course provides structured, hands-on instruction focused on the planning, deployment, administration, and operational support of tactical mission systems in hybrid and cloud-enabled environments. The course emphasizes practical application across End User Device (EUD) onboarding, transport layer connectivity, government cloud administration (IL4), mission application hosting, and secure identity management.
Students progress through a series of instructional modules that integrate theory with guided labs and assessments. The course culminates in a final assessment designed to validate comprehension of TMN concepts, system integration, and operational support workflows. All content is unclassified and intended solely for instructional and training purposes.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Explain the architecture and purpose of Tactical Mission Networks and their role in supporting distributed operations.
Onboard and provision End User Devices (EUDs) for mission use, including application installation and secure access configuration.
Identify and configure transport mechanisms such as MANET radios, SIM-based connectivity, Wi-Fi, and VPN solutions to support tactical data flows.
Administer resources within a government IL4 cloud environment, including user accounts, groups, virtual machines, and mission applications.
Deploy and manage TAK, TRAX, and Compass server components in a cloud-hosted or hybrid configuration.
Apply identity, access management, and security principles, including RBAC and privileged access concepts, to mission systems.
Execute basic operational support tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and sustainment of TMN-enabled services.
Demonstrate knowledge mastery through entry checks and post-module assessments aligned to instructional objectives.
